This popular group organises both meetings and outings to learn and share information on a range of topics related to “Heritage” in its widest sense. We are fortunate that we are based in an area that has a rich history but we do, on occasions, also consider subjects from a wider field.

We normally meet on the last Friday morning in the month in the Bowls room at Horn Park. Check the programme on this website or in Heritage News to confirm the  event dates and topics.

Our monthly meetings are open to all U3A SEL members, no need to book, just turn up. Refreshments will be available for a small fee

We send out regular news and updates directly to group members through the Beacon email system. You can read the latest editions further down this page.  If you wish to join our group and receive our emails directly please contact our convenor,  Roger Mead. No email address then please ask for Heritage News to be sent in the post next time you attend a meeting.
