Members look for, share, read aloud, and discuss published poems on a theme, different at each meeting, which we take it in turns to suggest. Occasionally a member chooses an individual poet or poem for presentation, followed by discussion. We have room to welcome a new member from time to time.

We meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month in a private home in Blackheath, within walking distance of Blackheath train station and buses 54, 89, 202, 108, 380, and 386. We read and discuss poems on a given theme or take turns presenting a poet’s work (this month it’s W H Auden).
