Julie Botan will speak with us on her life in the Ukraine & the UK. In her own words: “My name is Julie. I came to the UK under the Homes for Ukraine Scheme 3 years ago. When I made the decision to leave Ukraine, I did understand it would be hard to accommodate in a new country, however I did not think about the psychological side and the difference in mentalities. I came here with my son (he was 10 at the time), now he is 13. The transition to another country has been challenging, however I am so grateful for the warmth and support from the British people.” Please do come along to learn how Julie addressed those difficulties.
