U3A Intermediate Italian 3rd Anniversary Lesson on 21st October 2024

WHAT THIS CLASS OFFERS

We revise Italian grammar together with the completion of exercises. We read and orally translate short stories and cultural or current news articles from Italian into English. We translate a short passage from English into Italian and watch a 15-minute "Easy Italian" video. In every 5th Lesson students have the opportunity for self-expression in writing on a set topic. We show a modern Italian film with Italian audio and English subtitles, no more than three times a year.

Contact the Convenor to see if there is room for you or to be put on a waiting list. You may be required to complete and submit a short written test, taken in your own time at home.

Tutor: We have an Italian-speaking tutor, but this is NOT a conversation class.
